The Train is Coming!

Gunter has seen a lot of changes over the past few years. New businesses, a new school, a new bank, new churches, new roads, and new houses have appeared both in and around the Gunter city limits. Make no mistake: More change is coming!

Due to major population increases in our country and the economic boom in the Metroplex, many families have moved into the far North Texas area we call home. With these new houses come new roads, businesses, students, and traffic. Many more families will be buying land and homes in our community and joining our schools, churches, chambers, and school boards.

We have a responsibility to keep the values and traditions of Gunter intact while enhancing growth and development. Get on-board the Train of Progress!

Everyone in our city must vote for city leaders who have the vision to create a healthy town with viable goals and a long-term economic vision. We CAN keep a small town feel while doubling or tripling our population with good leadership.

With the help of current city, church, and school leaders and new resources, we can manage our growth and ensure we still live in the best small town in North Texas.
