The vision of the Gunter Community Group is to build bridges across the Gunter community, to develop a vision for Gunter, maintaining the small-town values while thoughtfully and strategically preparing for future growth and to build capacity within the leaders and leadership organizations in our community.

History:

Several years ago, an informal group gathered community leaders and friends together every few months to share what was going on in their respective organizations. The group networked, shared meals and invited speakers from various fields to share their visions for Gunter and North Texas.  Earlier this year, several members of that original group decided to reconvene those gatherings and an initial planning team for the Gunter Community Group was established.
