Gunter 2015 Halloween Details

If you are wondering how your family will spend this year’s Halloween evening, here is an update on some things going on in Gunter, Texas.

With Halloween landing on a Saturday this year, expect the kids to get dressed early and the parents and teenagers to stay up late.  Good thing, we have some options.

As always, be sure to stop by “Preston Trail Farms” Saturday to let the kids take a hay ride, walk through the hay bale maze, and pick up a pumpkin during the day.

Come hang out on Preston Glen
Come hang out on Preston Glen and see the busiest street in Gunter on Halloween! And say “HI” to these cooks.

Come down to the city park from 3-5pm for “Trunk or Treat.” There will be prizes for best costume and trunk decoration.  There is a cake walk, face painting, and free hot dogs. If you are interested in more information contact cityofgunterparks@gmail.com

Don’t forget to stop by the busiest place in Gunter on Halloween… Preston Glen, by the Gunter High School.  This cul-de-sac road is packed with ghost, goblins, princesses, and action figures. And parents who love hanging out at 203 (4th house on the right) while the kids walk the street. Stop by starting at 6pm for free water and hot dogs.  Bring a chair and stay a while. Grace Bible Fellowship makes Preston Glen their home base on Halloween each year to meet and greet our fellow Gunterites.

203 Preston Glen – The Turner’s home. Stop by for GBF Hot Dogs and water and to meet your neighbors!

The the last few years, the Gunter police have done an UNBELIEVABLE job of directing traffic between Autry Blvd by the bank, Tiger Lane, and Preston Glen… keeping kids and families safe as they walk the neighborhoods near the school.

Hope to see everyone around town. It is a shame it takes dressing up and eating candy to get the town to come together each year… but it is always a fun day!!!
