A GRAND Opening for sure

Well, Gunter… we all wondered what was happening the last few months as we drove up Hwy 289? We thought Pumpkins, Hay Rides, and Cows. We got SO MUCH MORE!

Preston Trails Farms is a True Value Hardware store.

It is a gift shop.

It will be a great place to eat and hang out.

And it is run by an amazing staff who was welcomed to Gunter properly this morning at their Grand Opening. The Gunter welcoming committee was in full force at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Preston Trail Farms, set along the historic Shawnee Trail is the new home of the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm! Preston Trail Farms is a year-round destination farm that offers a quaint general store, access to fresh local foods, and an escape to a simpler and more sustainable lifestyle.

In addition, the feed and general store serves as a hub for local rural residents providing convenient access to feed and other needed products and services.

Be sure to stop by and welcome Rick and Melissa Kimbrell, owners, to our town. They have put a lot of work and thought into this venture and are here to stay. This destination will put Gunter on the map and will draw many people to our town who may have never come. Be sure to welcome them too.
