Concert in the Park and BBQ Cook-off

June 13th, from 6pm-9pm, in the Gunter City Park, the Gunter Parks Foundation will be hosting a Concert in the Park fundraiser and BBQ Cook-off.  It is $5/person to attend and children 4 and under are free.  Meals from the cook-off will be available for $5.

For those interested in entering the BBQ cook-off, they will need to visit our website http://gunterparksfoundation.com and print their entry form and read the competition rules.  It is $25 to enter.  All entry forms and payments must be received by June 7th.  The BBQ cook-off will have 3 categories to enter (brisket, ribs, and pulled pork) with prizes for the best in each category and an overall Grand Champion prize of $150.

All proceeds from this event will go towards our future community-built playground.  Our playground build will happen in May 2016.
